Step 1 – Before

Our Signature Series Refacing Process

  • Step 1

    Our Signature Series Refacing starts with the preparation of your existing cabinets. First, our team of professional installers removes all of the old doors, drawer fronts and moldings. Next, they prepare the existing cabinetry for the bonding of the 1/4” thick Refacing panels and Facing.

  • Step 2

    Any modifications to existing cabinets is made before the refacing process starts.  At this step, if there are new cabinets that will be added in your project these will be added to help build the new design that you choose with your Designer.

  • Step 3

    The installation team begins by applying 1/4” Refacing panels to the sides of all the upper and base cabinets. Then all the fronts of the cabinets are covered with ¼” wood refacing material. We do take special care to prepare all surfaces to be able to adhere to the refacing material to your existing cabinets. Once this material has adhered to your cabinets it becomes a permanent part of your existing cabinets and it is not something that you will ever have to worry about coming off over time. Special care is taken to ensure we match the grain pattern on the old cabinets (vertical pieces have vertically running grains, horizontal pieces have horizontally running grains) each vertical corner receives our Signature Corner Treatment.

  • Step 4

    In this phase of the process we install the new doors, drawer fronts, and decorative moldings. This completes the Signature Series Refacing Process.

  • Step 5

    Many kitchens we are replacing the countertops, sinks, and faucets. If we are doing that for your project we will install the new countertop at this time.

  • Step 6

    Tile backsplashes are very popular and really can add an extra touch of eloquence to your kitchen. Once the countertop is installed we will then install your tile backsplash.

  • Step 7

    We’re done!  Now it’s time to stand back and take it all in! Be confident, proud and inspired by the most important room in the home you love.
