New Home – McKee

This new home was a blast to do for a wonderful family.   This family was building their dream home on their families farmstead.   We were excited to be able to be a part of making a young couples dream come true.  They put a lot of thought and planning into this project.  They used old barn beams that came off of the family farm and used them for the beams on the ceiling in the kitchen, for the mantel beam, and for the kitchen window sill.  This really made this kitchen very personal.  What you don’t see in these pictures yet, but if you look at the old hay mow track that is mounted above the island to the ceiling they were going to be adding pendant lighting coming down over the island.  They also asked us to use a couple of antique dressers that were rehabed and refurbished into some modern vanities.  We refinished, we glazed, we distressed these old dressers and even made a new wood top for one dresser because the existing top was to far gone.   This project was fun, enjoyable and we were excited to be a part of turning their dreams into reality.  We look forward to doing a unique and different type of a project for you.  Give us a call and we would love to help make your dreams in your home come true.
